Server Engineer

Responsibilities :
• Plan, install, configure, and maintain server hardware and operating systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Perform routine server maintenance tasks, including software updates, security patches, and system backups.
• Implement and monitor security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to protect servers and data from cyber threats.


Requirements :
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is often preferred, but not always required.
• Typically, 2-5 years of experience in server administration or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or VMware Certified Professional, may be an advantage.
• Proficiency in server hardware components, configurations, and maintenance.
• Strong expertise in server operating systems, such as Windows Server, Linux, or Unix.
