In the first National Congress on May 15, 1996, when APJII (Asosiasi Penyelenggara Jasa Internet Indonesia / Indonesian Internet Service Provider Association) was inaugurated, the executive council appointed for the first three-year period was expected to perform several important programs which was considered strategic for the development of internet network in Indonesia.
